Hello Everyone,
Please be sure to check our our photos link to see all the fun we had this summer from Spinning Wheel, Camp Mensinger, and our trip to Crater Lake.
As you can see our scouts took advantage of of the many photo opportunities.
Thanks to all of the parents and scout leaders who made this a very successful summer scouting experience.

CAMP MENSINGER OR PENDOLA ADVENTURE
It's that time of year again to start thinking about camp. Many of the older scouts will be participating in the Pendola Adventure (July 18th-24th), whereas the remain scouts will be going to Camp Mensinger (July 18th-24th).
Adventure Troop
If your son is wishing to earn more merit badges this summer then he may elect to go to camp for an additional week for half the cost. Any scouts going for an additional week will need to fill out the form below labeled Adventure Troop. Deadlines are still the same. Please note that our troop will be going to camp on the last week available so your son elects to go an additional week in the Adventure Troop, then he will be at camp before the troop goes. Please also contact Shaan if your son wishes to go.
Important Due Dates
- May 18th: All Merit Badge Requests turned into the Scoutmaster.
- May 31st: All Medical Forms, Fees ($270), and Parent Consent Forms turned into the Scoutmaster.
- June 1st: All Documents will be taken to the Greater Yosemite Council Office in Modesto, for submission.

SPINNING WHEEL
Spinning wheel was an awesome place to camp. The scouts all had a great time. A large group finished their Communications Merit Badge, several finished Orienteering, and another satisfied one huge requirement on his Fishing Merit Badge by catching, cleaning, and cooking a fish.
We were not able to camp by the river, which was our first choice, because we arrived on the eve of opening day for trout season and there was a massive group in the space we hoped to get. Like great scouts we improvised and made the best of our space. The scouts loved it anyway.

20 Mile Hike
March 20th, we will be having our 20 mile hike again. Start walking and getting ready for our big hike. We are taking a different route this year, one that does not have a lot of elevation changes. It's very important to walk everyday, and build yourself up to about 5 miles. This will also satisfy a major requirement on the Hiking Merit Badge (Eagle Required) so check out the link below.
